Planning may not be the most exciting thing to do, but it is one of the most effective ways to increase your productivity and achieve your goals. Here are five reasons why you should begin to plan each day in advance.
1. Planning Clarifies

Being clear provides numerous benefits. When you plan your day, you clarify what needs to be done by breaking it into small tasks. You answer the question, "What am I doing today?" Once you wake up you'll know exactly what you're doing so you can get going right away.
2. Defines How
When you create an organized and detailed plan, you know exactly how its going to work. A good plan details what needs to be done, and how to do it. It makes things easy, because all you have to do is follow it. This eliminates all guesswork, streamlining your productivity.
3. No Time Wasted
Wasting time limits your productivity and overall progress. Without a plan, you'll most likely be guessing what to do. Guessing wastes time. Knowing what you need to do and how to do it allows you to be extremely effecient.
4. Sets a Pace
Pace is very important when you set out to achieve any goal. The rate at which you move forward IS the determining factor of when your goal will be achieved. Planning each day gives you a pace to work at. As you get used to following your daily plans, you'll naturally start working faster and being more productive. This acceleration in productivity and progress only gets faster and more effecient as you practice.
5. Always Keeps You Moving Forward
Planning each day in advance gives your subconscious mind something to work on at night. Your subconscious will figure out the quicket, most effecient way to get things done. It's like having your own personal supercomputer work while you sleep. When you wake up in the morning, you'll have ideas and insights into how to make your day more productive. This daily flow of planning and executing will keep you moving foward all day, everyday.
